I don't normally go for "thick" black women. But I'd make an exception in Queen Latifah's case.

Once you go Queen you never go lean.

I've never heard her sing traditional songs, she's pretty good.

They ended with Paul Newman.

They did Heath Ledger last year, he was the last one. I remembered that. The cutoff is usually a month before the awards...he was the last one to make the list.

I love Queen Latifah! She needs to do more musicals.

I almost saw Slumdog yesterday. But it just sparks no interest in me. I am not going to see a movie just because it won some awards.

Iron man blew in vfx. Nothing special.

Button's ENTIRE face was a CG head, and sometimes the entire character was CG. Bet you never noticed.

Iron Man's VFX were spectacular.

I have to agree with timmay on that one. Benjamin Button blew Iron Man away in the visual fx department and deserved to win.

I not sure why they kept moving the camera around during the tribute clip. You could barely hear the crowds reaction either. Very poorly thought way to liven it up!

Carlin I think they squeezed in last year, same with Ledger.
