Even you've got to admit that's a bit more interesting.

Who passed it off as fact? and what facts are there in insults?^^ I certainly think a certain amount of cred is required when passing off opinion as fact
Based on interviews with cast members, writing staff who would have actually been working with Berman long term unlike Dennis. Or say, yourself.especially when it comes to (for example) making assumptions about what Berman did or didn't do, most of which is biased and heresay,
Same goes for most people I think since Mike Sussman wrote some great episodes, worked on the show for quite a while and is far nicer.I would rather hear Mike Sussman's take on working for the Star Trek writing team than yours any day of the week.
And the same goes for every Star Trek fan who dislikes this new movie, the look of the ship or who hates Berman and Enterprise. As much as you dislike people been critical of this movie (even though they have never seen it, like you've never worked with Berman) they can still say what they like. So you and Dennis have to live with that too.The fact that my opinion matters so little to you will not stop me from expressing myself here.
I don't claim to be. Nor do I have a stick up my ass about people loving or hating Rick Berman. You aren't any more the arbiter of what can and can't be said than I am.
No shit Sherlock. You've earned your 3 cents for the day.Last time I checked, your screenname isn't in green or yellow.
Wow! Pretty obvious that this

Is a cheap redress of this

I keep forgetting how cheap TFF was.
Well, that and the engine room from the movies had been cannibalized for TNG by that time. IIRC, TFF was shooting at the same time TNG was shooting it's second season, which may be the reason they didn't do a redress of the engineering set as they did in TUC.
Wow, that engineering set is quite similar. Abrams wants STXI to be like TFF, you heard it here first!
Actually, the design work from TFF was the best of any of the movies, imo, regardless of what people say about the movie itself. They had the bright white bridge going on in TFF too.
That movie had the best bridge set of any of the films (Meyer fucked it up in TUC). It was as close to the TOS bridge as you're ever going to see in a Trek movie.

I liked a few of the TUC bridge changes. The science station was in a more natural spot. But you are probably thinking of the big goofy digital clocks. They did suck.
I can't think of a single thing that Meyer did to the FF bridge that improved it, including tearing up the carpet and going for the darker color scheme.
To me, the TFF bridge looked way too much like the TNG-era, like there had been very few style changes in seven or eight decades.

Even the warp core in both TFF and TUC was just a shameless redress of the 1701-D warp core in the later series. They just slapped some late 23rd century Okudagrams and labels on panels and controls to make it appear different and more primitive.
Agreed... the design for TFF was actually quite good. I liked everything in it but the SFX (which were subpar by ANYBODY's standard) and the humor (which was disrespectful to every character, including Kirk, as far as I'm concerned). The overall storyline, honestly, I think was probably a good one that got ripped apart by "committee filmmaking." (Or rather, by one person trying to handle more than he really could, and then letting things go by various people with various visions, all trying to serve multiple masters, with no one really in control). But as far as original design work goes, TFF had a load of great stuff. The bridge, the hangar, the shuttles, the phasers, the combat uniforms, the jefferies tubes, they were as close to TOS on the big screen as we got and they looked better than the TMP versions, imo. Plus I liked the wheel room, I thought that was a pretty neat idea for a lounge.
