WHY GOD WHY?????

All the good places tend to be the ones that go :( Or they cost more than my tuition.

My favorite Korean restaurant has closed! I have been a loyal customer at this place since 1998! I'm so depressed!:scream:

i feel your pain! there was a great polynesian place that my wife and i frequented for 20 yrs that just closed down . they had the best chinese food around! great shrimp rolls. damm!:(

My favorite Thai restaurant closed suddenly. :( Fortunately, I have another good one nearby that's doing great business.

We lost the best dammed crab rangoon in town when ours closed. And the Jewish community lost the best Christmas day dining option.

*cries*

:guffaw:

I thought my favorite greek restaurant closed, but they just moved across the highway.

My condolences to everyone who's lost a restaurant.

I recently lost the town's favourite bakery. After 90 years of business one of the larger national chains has bought them out and BAM! No more pies :(

The world is but a cruel place...

There used to be a guy who sold the best bread pretzels EVER outside of Children's Hospital in Boston. It was a sad day when he disappeared.

Weird coincidence. Just this morning on the drive in, I was thinking to myself that it must be a tough time for restaurants and hoping none of my favourites close down. My commisserations!

This place was the best in the Ft Knox area. I have eaten at other asian food places and none have ever come close to this place. It looked like a dive. It was in a little rundown building next to a used car lot, but I loved this place. They hand made their eggrolls daily and would give me all kinds of free stuff while I was waiting for my order. An older lady owned it and then sold it to her niece who sold it to some other guy. This guy is trying to start a barbeque place there, but I dont see it being successful when there are great barbeque places closer to Ft Knox and there is even a guy who sells barbeque on ft knox.

Everytime I drive past it I want to cry.
