Last week's was a brilliant opener - this week's was OK, just "normal" Top Gear if you know what I mean...
The first episode (with the lorries) was awesome. Last night (which I'll watch today) should be great too.
I liked this week's episode, they are always fun when they go to the US. Although I think they should have really trashed the Challenger, just for Chrysler refusing to lend them a car.
BBC in trouble, people complain about presenter Clarkson. Describing Truck Drivers he had said on the show: 'You've got to change... check mirror and murder a prostitute.'
That was last week, the Beeb already responded saying it was a joke and that's the sort of thing people expect from the show.
Loved both episodes so far i do not know if it is just me but James May seem a lot more confidence this series first he over took with the lorries then this week on the mountain road. It said on the TG site that they have not been able to sell Hammond's car because just after they got it cleaned up ready to sell the credit crunch hit so if we see a budget episode we know why.
He's just so completely crushed that the Dacia Sandero is not coming to the UK that he's lost all will to live.
"Clarkson, you infantile pillock!" This episode was up there with their previous foreign epics (the Deep South, Botswana, the Polar Special, Japan) - and we've still got the Vietnam trip to come. Also, Jeremy getting cautioned by the police two times in as many days and James ending up in the weeds on a perfectly straight road were great moments.
The Daily mail is moaning about TG again. They are upset by him sticking 2 fingers up at the cop. the link stopped working about the same time all the TG fans started leaving comments supporting Clarkson. lol http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...policeman.html
It's not they don't like Top Gear so much as they don't like the BBC, and want to protect "hard working people" from the "Filth" on there.
Wonder what they will moan about next week. Surprise they only pick on Clarkson James can be a naughty boy sometimes epically when he talks about the French or the VW beetle
Because then he's slagging off the French and the Germans, and the Daily Mail love that. It must cause them quite the (tiny) brainstorm to have two contradictory opinions of that sort: "Must... attack... BBC! BBC bad! But BBC... insulting... Johnny Foreigner! Insulting foreigners good! ERROR! ERROR!"
Maybe this is TG plain to kill the DM When the report was still up the person who wrote it did not put there name to it it just said daily mail reporter. lol Its must be bad when your own staff don't want to admit writing for you. Greeks Londoners want Clarkson sacking now. http://www.thelondondailynews.com/jeremy-clarkson-racist-greece-toilet-comments-p-1724.html
Last weeks episode was hilarious with the lorrys. Me and and my brother were luahging so hard we cried when Clarkson pulled with his trailer on fire And while that was a lot of fun I actually enjoyed this sundays episode more because I love each and every one of the cars they drove and I love the US and I love V8s. I'd totally buy the ZR1 if I had the money, but the Challenger easily sounded the best. Motorroar heaven. And I loved their attempts to avoid to get busted by the US State Deparmtment regarding their visas As always looking forward to next episode.
^ IMO the Challenger also looks better then the Caddy and the ZR1. Too bad it's not as good to drive though.
