When I was younger I was a huge stephen king fan (and by younger i mean like, 10-13) but gradually I progress from him to other writers. My all time favourite author, which is kind of connected to King and was my "fandom" immediately following him till present, is Clive Barker. While I still enjoy some of his work and I respect him as an author he was more of a starting point in my literary interests.
I haven't read any of Barker's stuff for a while. I was thinking of reading The Great and Secret Show last night when I couldn't sleep. I don't remember at all what it was about, except that I think there may have been something about a carpet.Like I said, it's been a long time.

There's supposedly going to be a 3rd book to go with The Great and Secret Show and Everville I havent heard too much on it. However, is newest one is pretty interesting. It's called "Mr. B Gone" and it's about a demon being trapt inside of the book you're reading. It essentially sits there argueing with you trying to convince you to burn the book. The more you read the more it tries telling you in hopes that you'll finally do what it says. It was pretty cool if i do say so myself.
