^Clark's single now, time to play the field! :)

Seriously, though, I would give Clark a girlfriend. How about a girl named Lori who works in an Aquarium ?

Well WB probably wants to milk this for all its worth. Probably won't see a Lois hookup for a while?

^Probably not, no, which is why I'd give him a girlfriend. Let her know his secret (with the caveat that she's got one to protect too) and not be a crazy person like Alicia.

Now that is a great idea! Lori Lemaris should totally appear on this show.

Another way to introduce her would be to have the Daily Planet prodding Clark to get a degree and they financially assist him taking classes at Metro U and there he meets Lori. That would make their meeting pretty similar to comic book history as well.

A year ago I was pitching Lori Lemaris and everyone shot me down.

    WTF?

^Well, if I had seen you do it I wouldn't have shot you down. Back then it would have been a lot better than bloody Lana.

Well the gist of it was, if they had her, she'd have to be a mermaid and that would be stupid.

Which I don't get at all. Why would she have to be a mermaid?

^She could just be a water-themed meteor freak, really.

^And Doomsday is an alien and not a paramedic, General Zod wouldn't be caught dead inhabiting a human body, Mister Mxyzptlk is from the 5th dimension and isn't a meteor freak and so on and so on.

    Point taken.

To be fair, though, we don't know where they're going with Doomsaday yet.

I don't know if you've ever seen the Friends? But waking up naked in a strange part of town is how Fun Bobby finished most of his stories... Davis isn't an alien or a meteor freak, he's just a simple everyday alcoholic.

Maxima was spot on, from a comic book perspective. That was insanely loyal. Maybe the regime change has lead to less spin and more nostalgia...

    Okies...

Have Tracy Scroggins still play Cat Grant.... But then keep having her mention that she's saving up to have plastic surgery at some point which is going to take 15 years off her face. ;)

In the latest Supergirl comic... Kara Zor-El has taken on a new secret identity as "Linda Lang", a copy girl at the Daily Planet who looks surprisingly like Chloe, and will be working side by side with Jimmy.

The Blokes from Smallville who own Chloe, should be tossing their toys right now.

Erica Durance said in an interview with TVGuide that Lois & Clark's relationship will become more important as the season goes on. She also said that they were filming a scene with her and Tom making out just before the interview.

Makes me very excited to see the Legion turn up later this season! And yeah, bring on Lori Lemaris!

If it's this good now, how about we fire the guys in charge right now, and replace them with THEIR assistants!

Smallville this season is reminding me of Manny Coto's run on the last season of Enterprise. A last ditch attempt to keep some older fans by throwing in a geeky easter egg or three every week. Looking back, it was fun and occasionally funny, but as a series it lacked any direction or forward movement for the characters, if the show had started out that way everyone would have been WTF? What's the point of this show? Just a different reference every week to TOS?

Smallville this year has been a lot the same. Lot's of fan friendly references, still no soul. It's not a bad thing, but there's no way this could have sustained the series for this long. It's like the year and a half of the Justice League cartoon show.

Anyway, Instinct was just soft core porn. My son was sitting with me going "EEEWWW!!! They're licking each other!!" Maxima was true to the comics, but those comics issues were soft core fan wank material as it was.

I liked Lois, I liked how they're bringing the attraction between them along, it's making sense, not out of the blue in one episode, but fast enough to resemble being hot for someone in real life. Makes sense she'd Clark differently once he's in a suit with even a little start on a career, that's human nature.

I agree, the Talon has to go. Especially if Chloe is going to throw a fit when Tess breaks into her office, Chloe is living upstairs in a building that Luthorcorp owns, with a business (closed but still owned) that Tess could walk into any time she feels like it.

My bet on the crystal is Chloe/Brianac. Because they have to get Brainiac out of Chloe, they have to restore the fortress, they have to get Kara out of the Zone. They need Zor El for too much stuff that they have to solve this season, so the crystal has to be somewhere they can find it while working out an existing mystery. Since Lex isn't going to reappear this season out of no where with a mastermind plan and a Kryptonian crystal to power it, then it has to be Chloe.

^The Talon isn't closed. It's still in the middle of that Silent Film Festival that's been going on for 7 years. :D

And owners/landlords have to give notice before entering a renter's apartment.
