New Macbooks & Macbook Pros - October 14

If you wanna see more just go to AppleInsider or MacRumors.

They have more than plenty of "information" regarding the Apple event tomorrow.

And the threads are reaching hundreds of replies.

I hope they'll pay me, someday. ;)

It's rather nice.

Edit - Hmmmm, they're adding nVidia 9400M graphics and a mini-DVI port to the MacBook Air. Interesting.

Edit again - New Cinema Displays. 24" with a three cables in one that connect to the USB, mini-DVI (or Display Port) and MagSafe connectors on a MacBook (or Pro or Air) for USB, video and power. Very nice. Looks like a iMac.

Edit the third - New 12" MacBook, very similar to the larger 15" Pro.

Bloody ugly design change. I thought the Macbook Air was the worst design and that's what they've based the new ones on!

The lack of Firewire is disappointing, although with Apple pretty much wanting to sell Final Cut Pro I guess this is a step in the direction of doing just that.

People in Australia are majorlly pissed at Apple. It seems prices have stayed static in the U.S but here entry price on a MacBook has jumped $150 but the Pro has jumped $600. Yes they accept the dollar is down against the $AU but Apple pricing is still seen as too high (especially when for several months the $AU vs $US was much better and there was no price changes and we were still paying more converting to $US and allowing for some additional costs).
