I'm very very pleased (like Rick Berman on good coke). I haven't bought anything at all in ages but whenever I get back to Ottawa, as I am now, I check out the thrift stores here since they don't get picked over as much as in Montreal, and yesterday I found some great items. First of all, a light grey pinstripe suit that fits me better than any other suit I've ever found, which is hard to do because of my proportions. Second, I found a blue pinstripe sports coat, which also fits remarkably well, and may become part of a Doctor Who costume. Third and fourth, a toothpaste green polo shirt with a white moose embroidered on the left breast, and a late fall/early winter jacket that'll come in really handy soon. Lastly, I found a pair of great H&M jeans that seem like they haven't been worn, for only $10. Total cost, $75! :D

Killer deals!

Light grey pinstripe suits rock esp. on bright sunny spring & autumn days - I have one myself and it gets a lot of use in those seasons. Wore it just a couple of days ago in fact.

I'm on a self-imposed clothes moratorium for a month or so until the MTM sale starts at my local tailor, 'cos I've got two bundles of fabric I picked up at a very good price a while back just waiting to be made up into a 3-piece suit and a pair of trousers.

Yeah, I was really happy about it. I'm finally starting to gather a reasonable assortment of semi-formal wear, which is excellent. Someday I might actually have an entire wardrobe. :D

And then someday, like you (you tease!) I may actually be able to get a proper bespoke suit. That would be a dream. Hope yours turns out well. :techman:

I got Rambo also and watched it last night. What a great movie.
Also in the fun category I got TF:Universe Galvatron and Ironhide.

Boring stuff: Liquid Drano, Axe body spray, tape measure, paint brush, bread and mt.dew

I bought cupcake mix, orange frosting and little eyeball candies, so I can make some cool looking treats for Hubby and his friends on Halloween.

In the UK, the Edward Norton one came out today.

Including the absolutely moronic advert for it that felt the need to remind potential purchasers that, shockingly, the 1-disc version of the DVD doesn't have all the same extra features as the 2-disc version. I'm stunned.

Haven't seen that one yet. - Our local shops seem to be carrying only the single disk editions of most new releases at the moment:(

^It's out today in the UK. You get Iron Man first, though.

Trade off. After I posted that the thought occured to me that you could have pre-paid for a copy online.

I want TIH now!
Sometime this week I'll get IJ:Crystal Skull, its out tomorrow in the U.S.

Thanks! It will be regular made-to-measure not full bespoke. Credit crunch affects us all... :D

Good luck with the ever-expanding wardrobe. Mine's got so large, I now store most of my clothes in Narnia.
