I decided to post this photo when I realized that just about everything I was wearing was recently-purchased: hat, coat, shirt, tie--everything but the glasses.

Which reminds me: I need new glasses.

I bought some groceries last night, as well as Season 8 on DVD of a particular show I am quite fond of..... what else? I paid my car insurance bill.

I'm sure it will be. :techman: No time to watch it now, though; gotta get caught up on the baseball playoffs. :)

(And in case any other Matrix fans are listening: This time, the Animatrix films are also in High Definition. On the old HD-DVD version, they weren't.)

Did they clip out "the" scene?

what scene got cut?

None, to my knowledge. We're just talking about the big bad scary scene.

I haven't actually bought it yet, but I'm planning to get a PSP Brite (aka a PSP 3000) with FIFA 09 tomorrow.

A Wispa chocolate bar - Haven't had one in years:)

Still haven't got round to getting one. Really should do.

As for me, my most recent purchase was a jar of caramelized onion chutney - goes great with a nice bit of cheese!

Oh, crap. I'm enthusing about chutney. There's no hope for me...

Try a nice Gewurztraminer with the combination of onion chutney and cheese. It works gloriously well.

I purchased 50 rounds of Federal HST +P 230 grain .45ACP ammo.

Are you sure that's enough?

Depends how many IRS agents are sent round.

I feel no shame in admitting I had to google that, as I'm no wine drinker...

:D

Forget the fancy name. Just try one (preferably from the Alsace) with that particular food combo. It's just marvelous - a real synergy. It also works great with cheese and onion crisps, esp. if you're the kind of crisp eater who chews them a while.

Given a choice, I do prefer white wine, so maybe I'll give it a go. When I can afford it. Which may be never.

:D

You should be able to get a very nice Alsatian Gewurz for about a tenner give or take a couple of quid, depending on where you shop.
