I'm not sure, I was pretty distracted by Anna Paquin's tits. Not that they're much to look at (pretty average as far as boobs go, but nice), I just never thought she'd do nudity. She strikes me as one of those prude actresses that doesn't like to share the wealth. I guess it still could have been a body double, but her face was in frame with her tits and it seems a bit pointless and costly to go in and matte Anna's face onto the BD's body.

Well I think, seeing as how we've seen Jason every which way, it's only fair to get some Bill :techman:

    ;)

    Comments so far ...

Arlene - I hate her. Psycho bitch. Two-faced. Ugh. Pretty much perfectly spot-on from the books.

Jason - In the books, he has more than one note. Here, he doesn't. He has just one thing, what he's known for. I wish they'd give him something more to do.

Sam - Oh, poor Sam. They are totally setting him up as the killer. I mean, I know he's not, but if I didn't know better ...

Gran - Oh, I really liked her. :(

Tara - Wasn't sure at first, but she's grown on me. Really liking her now.

LaFayette - In the books, he isn't much more than a glorified cameo. Not much to him. His role here has been expanded to full-fledged character.

Rene - He's got a sense of humor ... And he's way too good for Arlene. Granted, the way she goes through men in the books means he'd be in about half an episode, so maybe they're changing things.

    Hadley - name-dropped already? Interesting ...

Tara's mother - Hmmm. Not sure what she's about. So far, she's pretty much a stereotype and not a character. We'll see.

Andy, Hoyt, and the gang - Pretty much straight out of the books.

The coroner and his assistant/fang-banger - Funny guys. All things considered, we'll probably be getting to know them better as time goes on.

Sookie - She's doing pretty well so far. There's a lot of subtlety in the character, and I think she's nailing it so far.

Bill - He's growing on me.

Mr. Viking Vampy - He's only been in one episode. He hasn't had a chance to do anything yet.

Pam - No. Completely wrong. Everything about her is wrong.

    Where is Bubba? Hmph.

We're now halfway through the first season. So far things are progressing right according to plan.

They did show Jason's ass AGAIN. Frankly, I'd rather she chick ass. Does anyone else watch this show? We're the only ones posting anything.

I dunno. Maybe they're trying to compensate for all the other shows that do show girly parts. Equal time and all that? ;)

I watch this show. I've never much been into vampires, they are a bit silly, and quite franky, True Blood's take on them is, too. Particularly their super speed.

But, the show is interesting enough to keep me watching. By interesting I mean "gratuituous nudity". ;)

As for the local yokel law enforcement...it's past time to call in the FBI, isn't it?

5 stars from me this week! Just gets better and better :techman:

Bill to Sam: Now is not the time for you to mark your territory

Sookie at Gran's funeral: Why don't y'all just shut the fuck up? You tell 'em Sook :techman:

Considering all the lead up, Bill and Sookie nookie didn't get a lot of air time :(

    Great ep though :techman:

This is a tough call for me.

I like the show enough to watch it, but it's not that great or one of my favorites.

Lafayette is probably my favorite character all-in-all, with Tara a close second.
Sookie is an okay character thus far.

Don't really care for Jason, he's a dumbshit.

I liked Gran's Character and I wasn't expecting her to die in the first season.

All-together, after watching the show, I'm a bit more interested in picking up the first Southern Vampire novel than I was before, which I guess is the goal of any Television adaptation of a Book Series.

I'm kind of disappointed that Lafayette doesn't play a similar role in the books as he has thus far in the TV Series.

Oh well, I really wish HBO or Showtime would pick up the "The Dresden Files" and make it again. Sci-Fi never had the money to realize that show on any particular level in similarity to the books, but then again, there's not as much sex in those stories to satisfy the amount of T&A the network usually requests.

I don't know. Jim Butcher generally puts a naked woman in every book.

I agree that the Dresden Files should have received the One Book Per Season treatment on HBO.
