What would you like to see in the 2010 SOTL Calendar?

*Door opens... warbird gracefully enters... and comes to a screeching halt because its too big for the damn door, T'Bonz curses and shoots the helmsman with her disruptor* Ah yes, I can all see it happening.. ;) :p

More like the door is due for an immediate refit.

Prepare to fire a Sombreromagnetic burst from the main deflector!

Let's show this prehistoric Dyson Sphere how we do things downtown.

Really cool to hear, looking forward to it!

I'm in for 2010 as well, creating a canon ship for it. Mr. Probert is giving me a lot of feedback to ensure this ship will stay within the design "ethics" of the Trek universe. (It's very important for this ship.)

I want to see some WORKBEE JOUSTING! :guffaw: Think about it...

Knightriders in spaaaaace!

Keeps 'em busy in Drydock between building Starships, y'know...

Seriously - think of it as a competitive sport for the Zero-G set.

With Pat Tallman hiding in the bushes naked?

Forbin... Forbin... Forbin...

Show some class here.

She don't need no stinking bushes!

Believe it or not Knightriders is getting a sequel...

Nope. Doesn't matter really, no sequel either. :( And she looked so perky...

Oh, I fell for her in that film long before the scene in the bushes!

I met her at a con once, too, and confirmed her utter adorableness in person.

I would really like to see a 'Battle of Wolf 359', with some of the ship classes that were never seen on screen.

If it hasn't already been done by the time the 2010 calendar is out, I really want to see what the USS Aventine (Vesta-class) looks like. It is supposed to be a vessel of exploration that acts as a testbed for quantum-slipstream technology.

I'm not really up to date with the novels, but the Vesta class is on my personal "want to do" list. I will have to do some reading first. Which novel(s) is the ship featured in?

Currently the Star Trek Destiny series. Mack is the author for it and he has posted over in the lit section that he left room for whoever to design the ship. I haven't seen much said about it, since I'm about to finish the book. Still got 2 more books to go through.
I know at least 2 other people, which includes Sean of the Titan design contest, is already working on designs. Should be interesting to see.

^ You ought to see the Chariot class, designed by Atolm and 3D modeled by Howard Day. Beautiful ship! Wish I could find one of the renders. Hopefully I have some on my home computer.

Really? Cool! I've always wanted to see what a Vertical Starfleet ship might look like (I also read once that the original plan for the Romulan D'deridex ship design was Vertical). If you have that, I'd love to see it.

I think I can help on that one... here-

Why am I picturing the warbird's back end rotating back and forth between horizontal and vertical?
