Only saw the fourth quarter of the Denver game, and I gotta say: I think I'm looking forward to this season! They were looking great, and it sounds like that wasn't much of a change from the first three quarters.

Broncos are looking good, but I think the Raiders could make the second string from the State School for the Blind and Lame look good.
Eddie Royal, the Broncos rookie receiver has more yards and catches than the entire Raiders receiving corps.![]()

Everyone laughed at me when I took Eddie Royal in our Monkey Bar league (it didn't help that he didn't even have a sticker in the fanball.com draft kit). He looked pretty good for a rookie WR.

but how much of that was the broncos and how much was the raiders self destructing?
I do hope the Broncs can keep it up, though.
Is Vince Young going cukoo or is it just me?
I wouldn't know who to believe in this, because this morning VY's saying he's committed to the Titans and to football. In all seriousness, what kind of a home life did he have growing up? He strikes me as being rather unprepared for the pressures and celebrity of the most high profile position in American professional sports. Is Vince Young going cukoo or is it just me?
It's not just you. He seems to be depressed and by his own admission, he's not committed to playing football. The Titans are much better off with Kerry Collins.

That whole team was what got them the National Championship, not Vince Young in particular.

If the implication of that statement is that Texas wins the national championship with another quarterback at the helm, I'll have to disagree. Young was the clear difference between a Texas team that USC handles with relative ease, and one that wins the title.
Have I said lately how much I hate you for that, for eye-witnessing one of the greatest championship games ever?I was there that night. USC hung 38 points on the vaunted Texas defense.
Vince Young won that game, no question about it. I saw it with my own eyes.
... his therapist says he was definitely talking about suicide.
Is it possible that he was always the 'golden boy' both in high school and at Texas and thus never had to deal with this kind of pressure?
