Question about dialing all gates at once

If you activate all the gates at once like we see in "Reckoning", what would happen if a person went through? Would a copy of you emerge from every gate, essentially creating a lot of clones?

We've never seen it, but my guess is that it would send you back where you came from.

All we've seen go through the Stargate is the anti-Replicator energy wave and the correlative updates, no physical matter.

So, the gate system would have a safeguard against it? That would make sense. Otherwise, you would have big problems.

We know that it treats energy (radio signals specifically) differently to solid matter since they can go backwards through an active wormhole.

It's not clear whether or not the Stargate was designed to make connections to multiple other Stargates. Although "Avenger 2.0" says it does so to perform correlative updates, we've never seen this happen and they admit that themselves. However, it has to have done so in order for Felger's software and Ba'al's modified version to have spread.

However, in "Reckoning" (after "Avenger 2.0"), Ba'al and Carter have to modify the Stargate's dialling software to make it possible.

I'm willing to bank that the person or object would be tossed to a random planet. As I recall, we haven't seen anything that shows a gate "rejecting" incoming matter and tossing it back. We've seen people going through, passing out, and next thing they remember, they're back. We've also seen that one device in season nine that, if I remember correctly, is sort of like call-forwarding, where it will send you to another planet, or if reprogrammed, back to the point of origin. But, I haven't seen one where someone goes through, and is tossed right back out.

Perhaps the outgoing gate would store the person's energy pattern in it's buffer upon recognizing that it couldn't successfully send such a pattern across the entire network. Then you couldn't use the gate unless you sent that pattern to a single address, or the pattern would get deleted-as what almost happened with Teal'c in the ep where he got stuck inside....
