Let's have a discovery then. You can't expect them to look exactly like the original actors.
All my legal research indicates that I can.
Your choice.
You'll never make it past summary judgment.

I think I can see the SHAT reflected in their eyes!
I don't mind the coloring too much. It seemed odd at first, but gold, red, blue, and black are the starfleet colors. Even if black is a bit out of place.
Also looks like the delta shield logo is part of the fabric!

I don't see it. If it is there it's probably another camera trick.
If not, does that mean that each crew is going to have their ship's insignia as part of the fabric?
Considering how they routinely travel many times the speed of light, I don't think that's outside the realm of possibilities.

The delta, as previously indicated, is indeed part of the uniform fabric - after the fashion of similar patterns in the "Spider-Man" and "Superman Returns" outfits.
There are no "ship insignias" in the film. As has been made evident by leaked images of Starfleet Academy, etc., the delta shield represents all of Starfleet.

Do they still make towels and stuff? Seems to me they were a major brand when I was a kid (before the Great Meteor hit what your people now call Central America) but I don't notice them lately.
EDIT: Ah, J.C. Penney still sells them. Thank goodness.
Plus, I found this nifty NSFW Cannon towel ad (from 1945!):

Well, having the one Asian guy colored yellow may send the wrong message.
it just seems like they gathered up abuncha schmucks...
surely with modern CGI they could have superimposed the original actors faces over the new guys?
I guess the director was just too lazy and disrespectful to do that.
Oh, he'll be there.
