It seems that a lot of you are not excited over most of the preview shots from the upcoming calendar. Tell us what would be really exciting to see... but be careful what you wish for.

It might be fun to see a "worm's eye view" of the Enterprise-D, with some of its ventral cargo hatches open, and some Sphinx cargo shuttles loading the ship for a forthcoming mission.

^Agreed. I could care less what the images show, so long as the CGI is high-quality, a feature the images from this year's calender seem to lack.
EDIT: Or, if you wanted to get really ballsy, you could do a fan submission calender, a la the Titan design contest, where fans would send in artwork and the 12 winners would get their images used in the calender....

(I suggested a Strange New Worlds art book a couple years ago in the Trek Lit forum, because I think the artists are being short-changed, and was met with a resounding silence from TPTB
). I think this is a great idea for the calendar (maybe we can see the Grandeur and Vanguard in there!)
