While my first poll is still running I won´t have access to internet for some time and I would like to know what are you thinking.

Now, these three characters don´t have so much in common BUT that important thing that they were introduced in the half of series to kinda help with ratings or make appeal to specific group, altough Worf was already star in TNG and one guy remebered Chekov from season 1. Without trying to be xenophobic, I don´t know who I would favorite by basing it solely on Russian vs. Klingon vs. Borg, but hey, this is a different kind of popularity contest.

As far as I know, Chekov except of being there and doing some humor, haven´t really changed TOS but still was charming in a way.

Worf... Ughh, I really don´t know. I am huge fan of DS9´s season 4 and international crisis with Klingons but I would still wish if there was a way how to do a darker atmosphere without so much klingon brawlers and their stupidity. Besides, when it comes to Worf on DS9 himself, except of hanging with other Klingons, the only things I can think about him were destroying center of sexual tourism out of frustration and marrying Jadzia Dax, character that I personaly hated but Worf loved her so much that he sacrificed countless of lives by leaving his own mission.

Seven, however provided T&..Ehh, I want to say, infinite Borg knowledge that turned small Intrepid-class ship to armored cruiser and her series into something with a more solid continuing premise, altough it wasn´t welcomed by all. To be honest, I also can´t decide what to make out of her. Becouse of her cyborg substance, eye-candy exterior and storyline that was sort of interesting if it actually had some resolution, she is along with Neelix one of the most bizzare ST characters but I like the change her presence caused on Voyager. She gets my vote.

I´m so disappointed that I can´t include Shran on this poll.

Worf, one of Star Trek's best written characters.

Not that I don't like the other two, mind.

Re: Pls help me.

Worf hands down. Seven was ok but she wouldn't be able to match Worfs skills in hand to hand combat nor would she be able to match his strength.

Re: Pls help me.

Worf... went from a nothing, practically b.g. character on TNG to a top tier player in DS9... and back to a nothing, practically b.g. character in the later TNG movies.

I'm pretty sure that Seven was much stronger than Worf?

She'd beat him with ease, Klingons aren't even a match for Major Kira  much less former Borg with Ninja skills.

The TNG Movies for me ruined Worf, so I'll go with a Seven/Chekov tie.

Re: Pls help me.

You should have added Wesley Crusher. Like Chekov, he was in the series to appeal to a younger audience. He did that well, though sometimes I think his is the least appreciated character in all of Trek.

Re: Pls help me.

Such an easy call, Worf, Son of Mogh. A character with full dimension, a force to be reckoned with and worked his way up from the back of the bridge.

I always liked Chekov, he had a lot of humor to him, he was easily one of my TOS Favs

Seven- Never in contention, She was well acted and is a beauty to be sure, but the character never grew at all. If there had been character growth, I probably would have been more interested in her. As she was, boring after 6 episodes. So much of the 2nd half of Voyager was wasted on her. Really, really sad.

But he was there from the beginning.

If we are talking on aspects of which of the 3 character possesses physical skills, intelligence and everything else ... Seven of 9 takes the cake.
Thanks to her Borg heritage, she is several times stronger than a humanoid (take you pick at the species), much more intelligent and knows Tsunkatse.
Worf is a fighter, but he'd be beaten by 7 rather quick in hand to hand combat due to her knowledge and ability to fight when necessary.
Chekov ... not really worth mentioning in this contest

Seven had something neither of the other two had(thank god!)-a skintight body suit. When you bring a character in halfway through the series to catch viewers' attention that wins out every time!:)

Seven rocks - no contest.

And I'm sure she could take down Worf in hand-to-hand.
(For supposedly being the heavies of the Beta quadrant, it surprising how often Klingons get whooped by supposedly wimpier species) :vulcan:

I never much cared for the Worf story lines, tho 'Parallels' is one of my favorite TNG episodes. The TOS Chekov character didn't ever impressed me, but he did have his big screen moments.

Funny, it would never have occurred to me to interpret "Who is better?" as meaning, "Who's stronger and better in a fight?"

I voted for Seven. W Koenig, good actor, but not an interesting character. As for Worf... was he really a developed character? I'm not convinced he was. I think many good Klingon stories revolved around him, but he was often the least interesting component in them. My impression of him is of an unimaginative grunting character, saying little, humorless, yet has smart, beautiful, articulate women falling all over each other for him.

I liked how he was beginning to be dealt with in DS9 with Jadzia, especially the moment where it was revealed why he's so "careful" and conservative and unemotional... he was afraid to let himself go because of a childhood incident where he accidentally killed another child. It was fun seeing Worf's version of a sense of humor, with Jadzia.

Anyway, Seven had much more to her, I think. She may have had fewer great stories revolving around her, but I felt I saw inside her better than with tight-lipped anal-retentive old Stone Face Worf.

Re: Pls help me.

Seven.
Checkov is not really important or interesting character.
I disliked Worf a little in TNG, and I started hating him in DS9.

If I am not to be serious (which is the case most of the time btw), I'll choose the one who makes me laugh more than the others: Worf. I love his sense of humor.

That said, I won't dismiss the other that easily because they too have some great moments.
