Anyone know what the song is used in the trailer? Love that shot of Nite-Owl's ship 'Archie' coming up from the water with the NY skyline (with WTC) in the background.

Before I downloaded the HD version, on the low quality YouTube one I saw, I thought it looked like him blacked up for his Tropic Thunder role.
I also thought he looked just like Robert Downey, Jr. Confused the hell out of me because I could have sworn he wasn't in it.
Don't think I've watched a trailer this many times since The Phantom Menace Roll on March 2009! 8 months... god EDIT: Just noticed on the Comedian/Robert Downey Jr shot, there's Dr Manhatten's massive legs in the background. Totally missed that before! And speaking of Doc Manhatten, will he be wearing underpants/Y-Fronts throughout the film, because I can't see how they'll get round having his big blue dong been in every scene like the comic

I don't think I had ever heard of Watchmen before seeing this trailer. The trailer has got me very interested though, and I have been on Wikipedia reading about the characters and story.
Hehe yeah, I seem to have learned a bit too much of the plot while reading the character's back-stories.
I have to confess, seeing it in the theater tonight... I was keeping my eyes peeled. It looks like there will be at least some point where he doesn't have anything on. If you look carefully (or should I say, if you choose to look at all) at the shot where he's split into three, the one in the background has been the subject of some strategic framing. I suppose, though, they could make it so that he morphs it off... I can't believe where my mind is going...
it is heavy on the CGI, maybe there'll be convenient lamps and vases everywhere, Eyes Wide Shut style!!
In the comic, some people express ... discomfort with his lack of modesty and he manifests the Y underpants, wearing them through a good deal of the story.
Trailer looks alright. I haven't read the comic and this trailer dosn't make me want to read it. It sounds like a comic spoof by the way people here are talking about it and honestly this looks and sounds like a download/rent deal for me. Looks like this movie will be promoted via the old nerd bitching about every little detail trick again huh? Does that even work though?
