The word is from Antony that the new software can handle longer threads without the sort of weirdness we sometimes got in UBB.threads. My understanding is that it's up to forum mod discretion whether to close and start a new thread or just let 'er rip. Barring any disagreement from the other Trek XI mods, I'm inclined to let this one keep on rolling.

I say we lock it down! We've had enough nonsense in here. Time to get back to the serious business of debating whether people still actually weld pieces of hull together, and sweat. Surely they've found some way of combating sweat in the future.
