I've seen so many sombreroes and sombrero related avatars, but I'm surprised that I hadn't seen one like the one I have now which had actual sombreroes in it. Somebody may very well have, though, and I just never noticed.

Did we never agree on what sombrero to use on the UGO logo? I noticed our forum's is still sombreroless.

Reasonable concept. Did you try making it spread to fill the image, to see how that looked? And another approach might be alternating with slightly oversized neon red eyes (or lenses of the glasses).

Yeah, I tried filling the whole image but I didn't like it. Too in your face. I like the more subtle, around the eyes effect. As for color, the image is dark so I wanted to highlight the glare by making it white.

Thanks, Carpeoccasio. I can manage pixels, but you guys all have me beat when it comes to image manips. I drew the hats in Paint Shop Pro 7, & then pasted 'em into each frame via Animation Shop. (I've got Photoshop CS2, I'm just too lazy to learn how to work it properly, & too comfortable with PSP.)
