But it was the real deal? I skimmed through the cast lists for all of the episodes and the only ones I could find with Wanda said she was voiced by Elizabeth Olsen.

Just finished rewatching Avengers: Age of Ultron, so I guess I'm as ready as I will ever be for Visionquest. It will be interesting to see how Vision and Ultron are in the series and whether the last scene of the movie will be expanded on. It is interesting that I think watching this film after knowing what is to come (Wandavision, Endgame, etc) kind of enhances the movie a little. I remember thinking it was an average film at the time but I think my opinion of it improved. I do still think there was a ton going on and I wonder what an Age of Ultron series on Disney+ would have been like, but overall, it wasn't as bad as I remember.

Agreed. I also rewatched it for this show and I enjoyed it a lot (although I always did). Hell, even the parts that used to bother me (the forced inclusion of Dr. Cho and Thor's side quest) felt more natural now.

I think it helps that, with the passage of time, we've learned to let go of our expectations and disappointments and accepted the film for what it strived to do.

That said, I'm annoyed by the transition from the Twins observing Tony dramatically picking up the Sceptre to suddenly the Avengers quietly leaving on the Quinjet. Um, the Twins were right there and nothing happened. That editing choice will always bother me.

One thing I noticed about the film was how much it set up future events. Vision and Wanda's first meeting, Thanos, the hostility starting to form between Tony and Steve. Knowing what we know now, it's kind of an important film, though that stuff with Nat and Bruce Banner was still so weird.

Actually, I love that part even more now. It showed a possible relationship that never got a chance to bloom. With how the future played out for both of them, the tragedy of that missed opportunity stands stronger. Sometimes relationships don't work and that's how life is.

Honestly, I think my biggest issue with the movie was depicting Natasha as a damsel in distress. I think all my problems would have been solved If instead of Bruce having to come in and break her out of her cell, Bruce enters the room and Natasha just walks out of the cell and says "what kept you?" Because she's the greatest spy in the world and she picked that lock hours ago.

John Byrne in the original Vision Quest said that her powers work retroactively.

If someone is acting out of character in Age of Ultron, it's because future Wanda is unhappy with her life.

I'm a little shocked they introduced Amadeus Cho's mother all the way back in Age of Ultron but haven't introduced him. When they said she was going to be in the movie, I had assumed the whole reason they included her was as a set up to introduce Amadeus later.

I saw an interview with Chinese American actress Chloe Bennet about casting for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. "The producers didn't know I was Chinese, they already had a Chinese, so if I wasn't passing for white in my audition, Marvel definitely wouldn't have hired me, because having two Chinese actresses in the same American TV Show, is a bit much."

Cou- (Shang Chi) -ough!

Is she actually Amadeus' mother? I've never seen that connection referred to before but I know very little of his character. However, Cho is a very common Korean name so the connection isn't automatic.
