Marvel Animation’s X-Men ‘97 Discussion Thread.

i wonder if x force will join the x men now that cyclops jean logan storm and morph returned to the 1990s aka the present with forge

it would be great to see psylocke and warren as part of the x men

also wonder if x factor will have encounters with the x men again but what will forge do now since he was a member of x factor before tempary joining the x men
 
I'm enjoying it so far. The X-Force episode had me smiling from the start. I can't wait to see what they do with Apocalypse.
 
wow some big revelations on today’s episode

Eros the Celestial was the one who made the ship and created Apocalypse, and the Pharaoh was Kang

Also rip magneto

Maybe some if that is based off existing comic book lore, idk

To be fair, that's what happened in the 80s.

The ship was a hand held device that the Celestials used to scan stuff, almost like a tricorder.
 
what a season 2 episode 4 of x men 97

notice how the x men 97 intros only feature the characters that in the episode

like episode 1 only had i think scott jean morph storm and wolverine

then episode 2 had x force style intro with cable psylocke jubile archangel and sunspot

episode 3 and 4 had charles magneto beast rouge and nightcrawler

The mid credit scene was Wolverine discovering that Weapon Xavier exists, and you may have noticed that this early version of Jim had bone claws.

Maverick and Sabertooth used to be part of a CIA trio with Wolverine called Team X, and later all became stooges for Weapon X. Deadpool is a later alumni.

I've changed my mind.

I think we are going to get some Alpha Flight.

Wolverine is the most in love with Heather, and Jean just sorta reminds him of her.

Maybe Northstar and Iceman can hook up, or talk about the Puppy Episode of Ellen.

O. You're talking about an old episode from the 90s? What a weird book end, setting up a story that was played out 30 years ago.

I was thinking that if the post credit scene with the actress/character above is teasing something that has already happened, then maybe it's teasing some else, like what the three of them were doing in 1941?

He even threw in a few lines that I assume were homages to TNG "You're going to be so surprised!" was one of them. I believe that's from All Good Things. He is an absolutely fantastic voice actor.
