Probably. It might even get worse as some War College cadets who weren't on this mission might blame the Academy cadets for getting their friend killed.

I actually love this idea. It‘s almost a bit of a shame they all became friends as quickly as they did. There hardly seems be any conflict left between the main cadet characters, which would help to tell a “Breakfast Club” kind of story. Maybe stick Dzolo in there and it might work.
