If your criticism is genuinely constructive, then it shouldn't be a problem to post it and discuss it. The fact that you won't speaks volumes. But by all means keep lolwutting or whatever.
RMB is terrified of a klingon in a skirt because he's insecure about his masculinity and it threatens him. And it's the same for all the doughy keyboard warriors who think like he does. If he was comfortable within himself he wouldn't give a shit about it. But he does. It's laughable that someone like RMB who claims to be an expert on all things trek would be bothered by such a trivial thing. IDIC and all that.

"Its all fiction" is a weak argument. Every show or franchise has certain boundaries and rules to it. That would be like putting a skirt on James Bond and saying "Its just fiction. Who cares?? Everyone who read the novels and knows the character far better than the new writers who didn't do their homework. That's who. They're a fictional Alien species.
Because nothing from the past 60 years of Star Trek lore points to a male Klingon wearing a skirt and liking it. Watch any episode with Worf or other Klingons. Why can't they wear skirts and why would that be an issue in the 32nd century?
Of course you can swear all you want. But you're an utter hypocrite for saying someone else is mad when you're clearly the one all bent out of shape over this. And spare me the pearl-clutching when it comes to swear words. You're an adult. Deal with it.
Where in those Sixty years has any Klingon mentioned an opinion on skirts?Because nothing from the past 60 years of Star Trek lore points to a male Klingon wearing a skirt and liking it. Watch any episode with Worf or other Klingons.
Exactly. This is forming an opinion on... *checks notes* no evidence. We see Klingons in Starfleet wearing uniforms, and we see Starfleet uniforms having Skants and skirts as uniform variants.Where in those Sixty years has any Klingon mentioned an opinion on skirts?
Worf is the uptight straightlaced Klingon who other Klingons mock.
This is how Western media dies - with thunderous apathy.Where in those Sixty years has any Klingon mentioned an opinion on skirts?

Please show us the episode commenting on skirts.
The excuses just get more lame by the day. Watch any episode dealing with Klingons and you would see how stupid that idea is.
"I haven''t seen a Klingon in a skirt. Therefore, this is a boundary and rule of the franchise" is neither an argument or criticism. It's just a silly thing to say."Its all fiction" is a weak argument. Every show or franchise has certain boundaries and rules to it. That would be like putting a skirt on James Bond and saying "Its just fiction. Who cares?? Everyone who read the novels and knows the character far better than the new writers who didn't do their homework. That's who.

Again, where in those Sixty years have Klingons talked about skirts: pros and cons? I've been watching Star Trek for all of those Sixty years. Nothing in my recollection has them discussing what clothes are right or wrong for them. What in those Sixty years indicates that Klingons might object to skirts?

I'm sure that sounded deep and profound in your head. Not so much on the screen. This is how Western media dies - with thunderous apathy.
Get over yourself."Its all fiction" is a weak argument. Every show or franchise has certain boundaries and rules to it. That would be like putting a skirt on James Bond and saying "Its just fiction. Who cares??

I personally objected to a Klingon wearing a skirt? Where?Seriously pointing out the absurdity of objecting to skirts on a Klingon signals the death of Western media?Get over yourself.
Text conveys about 10 percent of human meaning in communication. So, any humor is lost in text."No humor allowed! No fun allowed! Ony be serious all the fucking time or I'll twitch into oblivion!" - Serious Posters on TBBS.
I'm far from a serious poster."No humor allowed! No fun allowed! Ony be serious all the fucking time or I'll twitch into oblivion!" - Serious Posters on TBBS.

This might be one of the genuinely dumbest takes I've read in my 17 years of posting here. So because a Klingon has never been depicted in a skirt, they can never be depicted in one? They have to be a monoculture that never evolves, is that it?"Its all fiction" is a weak argument. Every show or franchise has certain boundaries and rules to it. That would be like putting a skirt on James Bond and saying "Its just fiction. Who cares?? Everyone who read the novels and knows the character far better than the new writers who didn't do their homework. That's who.

They are getting the bad publicity on their own, they don't need some made up hate campaign.I 100% think that no one cares about review bombing and all the hate campaigns because there's no such thing as bad publicity.
The metrics are showing nobody is watching it.Starfleet Academy getting all that attention is more likely to get people to watch then avoid it.
How far away from them are you?I'm far from a serious poster.
