"As a cadet sets out to solve an ancient Starfleet mystery, she embarks on a journey of self-discovery and learns the value of forging her own path. Meanwhile, Nahla agrees to help a fellow chancellor with an elaborate alien ritual." - TrekCore.com
Okay, so not a sibling, but what about a half-sibling?Jake does not have a sibling
Interestingly non-committal. On their part. Anyway, what else they do should also be interesting. Not shown![]()
Thank you.
Maybe someone in the art department should spruce up their resume.Interestingly non-committal. On their part. Anyway, what else they do should also be interesting.
Sur ce, c'est tout.
Are we completely certain she is one, though? I think it looks a bit like she’s supposed to have a Bajoran nose ridge, but only vaguely. And I don’t think she’s wearing the earring.… the hybrid …
I count four art department screwups in that.
it also doesn't show Judith Sisko.
Or Ben's two brothers.it also doesn't show Judith Sisko.
I’ll be glad to eat my words, but I honestly don’t think there was ever any chance of Avery Brooks making a guest appearance in this one.I hope there are DS9 actors in this episode, especially Avery Brooks.
Not a personal one, but both Sisko and SAM were created to function as emissaries to linear / organic forms of life. I guess that’s the connection this episode will go for and what makes SAM interested in finding out about Sisko. Thus far, there is no personal connection to any of the Academy characters and DS9 that's evident.

As someone who really didn’t like most of Discovery, I can say that I find Starfleet Academy much better and more enjoyable to watch.I thought that nothing ever could be any worse than Discovery, and then the first few episodes of Starfleet Academy came in ... and it was even worse than I imagined.
How does that even work? How could they do anything on Starfleet Academy that would retroactively “ruin” a show from 30 years ago?don't ruin another Star Trek show that you don't know anything about!
A mystical alien orb would definitely help there.SAM investigating Sisko's disappearance would be equivalent to someone investigating whether Arthur of Brittany was murdered and dumped in the Seine (c. 1203)
