Has an advertisement ever actually influenced you to buy something? I can't think of anything I saw in an ad that I'd want to spend money on that I haven't already spent money on. Companies spend tens of millions annually on stadium naming rights, but I never actually think of the company itself. Or how about those silly bowl game names? Didn't inspire me to buy some Duke's Mayo or Cheez-It.
Maybe when I was a kid seeing a celebrity promote a drink would make me want it, but not today.

I usually got History Channel on as background noise. And if i glance up and see William Shatner random on the "The Unexplained" i automatically do a hand-salute and i say "Captain"......

I am thinking about building out a wooden enclosure to fill in a gap inside of one of the floor vents in my house, as I just realized (after living where I have for almost 16 years now) that there is a massive gap underneath the living room floor that a lot of heat is being lost out of.
Can't you just fill it with the expandable foam stuff?

I just learned that there is a Saudi Arabia-produced American TV show (that doesn't seem to be streaming anywhere yet they're already on season 3?) called Paper Empire starring Robert Davi, Denise Richards, Kelsey Grammer, Wesley Snipes and Steve Guttenberg, and holy cow does it look exactly how you imagined it would.
No idea where I will find another job that I can actually do.
