The Emperor's New Cloak *yawn*

I also want to take this opportunity to thank Garth Rockett. Those polls have been much fun and it's nice to see other's opinions on what the worst episodes are. Good idea! :bolian:

The worst ep IMO was Extreme Measures but since it didn't make the cut I'll go with Covenant. The only good thing to come of it was propelling Dukat down the path that would drive his arc in the Final Chapter.

Prodigal Daughter was just an average episode. I liked Emperor's New Cloak with MU Ezri, Rom's meditation on opposites and the nature of MU, Quark & Rom's acting literally like they were carrying a cloaked cloaking device along with the way the episode went over-the-top contributed to my enjoyment. And Badda Bing Badda Bang was a nice fluff piece that was diverting enough and offered the crew one last time to all work together and interact before the Final Chapter broke them up into their own storylines.

Emperor's New Cloak. There are a few nice scenes, but not enough to elevate it against a strong season's worth of contenders. Even if Prodigal Daughter doesn't really feel like Trek to me, I can at least pay attention to most of it.

Thanks! I've had fun doing these polls.

Agreed. Yegh.

Out of the nominees, I voted for Prodigal Daughter. I quite like both Chrysalis and Badda-Bing, Badda-Bang, Covenant is ok despite the further erosion of Dukat's character, and Emperor's New Cloak is fun if I'm drunk or something. :p

Why is Badda-Bing, Badda-Bang even on this list? It's a wonderful episode.

I voted for The Emperor's New Cloak, because the MU had been mined to many times by that point. Also, the Klingon ships were seen decloaking in an earlier MU episode, but they somehow lost that technology by this episode.

Well, I was one of the people that voted for it in the preliminary round. I don't care for holodeck/holosuite episodes, the Vegas mafia plot bored me, and I never liked for Vic Fontaine (his '60's gangster talk grates on my nerves) in the first place.

But I guess "Badda-Bing" is a fairly harmless episode, so I didn't vote for it this time. I went with "Chrysalis"- one of the few DS9 episodes I really loathe.

BBBB

Plot was good, Vic was not, nor was he ever, I hated the character, and the idea of him...was he self aware or just a good hologram? or what?

I was soooo tempted to choose Covenant but went with Emperor instead. To me, Emperor was the most worthless episode out of that bunch. Even though I disliked the Ezri character, Prodigal gave some needed insight into who she was before the joining.

Of the selections I picked "Prodigal Daughter". However the last half of DS9"s seventh season was great!

Covenant becuase I cant stand Kira, she should have converted, it would have been a lot more interesting.

Anything using a mirror universe automatically gets my vote. Marginally the most intellectually lazy idea the writers ever came up with (holodecks/suites come a close second).
