It's not as good as the first two seasons, but still pretty decent for new Trek. My biggest criticism is that there are far too many offbeat stories in the season.

just last night i watched the giant Jikaru space creature episode aka "What is Starfleet?:

so let me get this straight. a giant "kaiju" space creature that is being forced to be used as a weapon, it wants to die but every time it gets attacked, it released an intense radioactive wave.

Spock and Uhura are the only oens to barely manage to communicate with it. it tells them to kill it.

then at the end of the episode it just floats towards a sun to end its life.

Well I personally thought most of the episodes were awful. Two I liked well enough. But overall it was a very bad season imo. Enjoy....
