LEGO Enterprise rumors

Shame the shuttle isn't available as a separate cheaper build for those who can't justify the Enterprise.

But I'm absolutely in for this! Helps that I've got enough Lego Insider points to bring it under £300!

I generally don't spend more than $15 on Lego, so this is slightly out of budget for me lol.
Also not really digging the shape of the enterprise, it just looks off to me

The more I see it the more it grows on me (the box art angle is probably tge worst view of that ship) but a lot of "who" the ship is is lost by not getting the shape and colors of deflector right. Almost every other bit looks pretty good, just that deflector look bugs me.

Another angle comparison with the Bluebrixx just because why not?

That LEGO saucer just looks so...kludgey. It makes me think about that time the Cerritos shed its outer hull. ;)

BlueBrixx doesn't even have the phaser strip! The overall geometry of the Lego ship is better for me, the saucer rim and the upper decks.

A friend of mine says they occasionally do sell the bonus sets sometime down the line.
Yeah, I saw someone on Threads say that the box art and set number of the shuttle suggested it could end up being a stand-alone, that the ones that were intended to exclusively be bonus sets were in yellow boxes and had a differently-formatted serial number.

I'm not a -D person, but it is a pretty cool set. I'm not sure, I don't have a lot of grown-up Legos, and I have some kind of uninterrogated idiosyncratic opinion about what works with the Lego aesthetic versus what I'd rather have a "real" model of, but I'm pretty sure Trek ships are firmly in the latter category.

Random brown pieces everywhere (not just transport emitters) and windows in the pylons? :D

And in the closing shot, there was a "There Are Four Lights" poster and... a distinctive lamp I can't quite place. At first I thought it might've been Worf's Bat'leth trophey from "Parallels," but that's not it.
Where?
