Finished three books while on vacation.
* North and South. This was a good read overall, but it gets depressing fast when characters start dying off.
* Stalking the Nightmare. It's a collection of Harlan Ellison's short stories and a couple of essays. It was pretty good. Some stories are better than others. I only read it because of the intro by Stephen King, but I have two more of his short story collection cued up to read next.
* Tooth and Claw: A Longmire Story. It's an action packed story that takes place before the Longmire TV series, where we find our main characters in Alaska being hunted by a demented polar bear. It's pretty wild, but it was hard to visualize the ship at times since I'm not super familiar with the layout. It was pretty good, but action never translates well into written word. It works much better visually.
I'm currently reading:
* 11/22/1963
* Picture of Dorian Grey
* A Tale of Two Cities
Going into October, which will be Victober, I'll still be getting through 11/22/1963. It's a pretty long story. And I'll need to knock out Hester as well.
