This is a pretty interesting video on Doomsday and how it could be linked to mostly everything from Endgame onwards and even fix the issue with Kang. If the story is anything like this then I think it should be a trilogy and not two movies

I'm not going to bother relitigating the plethora of issues that I and many other people legitimately have with the series. Instead, I suggest you go read the Secret Invasion thread.

To put further credence on my stance, I say this as someone who at least enjoys if not loves everything else in the MCU (yes, even Eternals) and I stand firm on my point that Secret Invasion is by far the MCU's singular outright failure.

I'm far from the only person in the world who has a glowing opinion of Secret Invasion. In fact, I'd actually venture to say that I'm more likely in far more of the majority than the haters, loud though they may be, are.

Maria Hill's death was one of the MCU's biggest watershed moments and was both earned and perfectly executed based on the impact that it was intended to have on the story of Secret Invasion.

It also raised the stakes for both Fury and the audience in a way that not much else could have.
