Your latest purchases, cont.

A LotR's magnet. I had one already close to when the films came out. Got this one on Ebay. I also bought a Star Trek mug at a steal there. AND an apple iPhone out of need. Not just for an upgrade. On the oldish side but nice looking and in good condition. Also, a steal. Hope their reviews are true. Electronics are always the tricky one with Ebay/Amazon. But the price is low enough where I will not be crying, lol. But I do not have unlimited money outside of expenses. So, I would not be able to replace it right way. Plus, I don't have a PO close by to send it back. The one down the road closed down. And the bus does not go to the other one. Basically, out in a very rural area. I am getting tired just thinking about this, lol.

Why do Petco and Target have higher prices in-store than online? Do I have to place my order online for in-store pickup just to save 75 cents?

To the local Costco for groceries and a car wash.

Download the store's App. When I see the price is higher in the store, I show the cashier the price on-line in the store's App, they will usually match that price in the store, if not I put the item back, and order it on-line using the App on my phone. Wait for about 20 minutes for the email. Then go to the on-line pickup window, show them the order email on my phone, and complete the transaction there. It has worked well at Tractor Supply Company and True Value Hardware. The savings us usually more than 75 cents. As to why they do it, probably because there is more competition on-line.
