Your latest purchases, cont.

Groceries from Ruler Foods (Kroger's answer to Aldi's), but within the next few days, my mother and I will have to get to either Schnucks or Target to pick up pie filling (peach and apple) and frozen strawberries to put on my gluten free waffles as Ruler doesn't carry those..

I saw this shirt on RedBubble at least six months ago, and have wanted it ever since, but other things always seemed more important. Well, not anymore; I finally grabbed it, and with standard shipping it should arrive in 2 weeks tops. Clicking on the picture will take you to the site, if you want your own...but they're only available up to a 3XL.

Another thread, reminded me I'm out of Atomic Horseradish. Time to go to Smart & Final to do some shopping for sale items I need + Atomic Horseradish. It will spice up my pork chop for tonight's dinner.

This is the opposite of a purchase. Amazon just refunded me for an "unresolved return" even though I haven't returned anything all year long.

"Following a recent internal review, we identified a very small subset of returns that were unresolved because we could not verify that the correct items had been sent back to us. We could have notified these customers more clearly (and earlier) to better understand the status and help us resolve the returns. Given the time elapsed, we’ve decided to err on the side of customers and just complete refunds for these returns."

Pretty sure I've always gotten a refund, so I'm not sure what's going on here. Unless I forgot about one from years ago.

I just got my 55-year-old potable water tank replaced with a new one, for my domestic well, by the pump company I use for servicing my well.

Amazon refunded me for a telescope solar filter. They said the supplier never received confirmation from the supplier of your order that they sourced the item from a recommended manufacturer. They never asked for the filter back. There is nothing wrong with the filter, it works as intended.

Hey all!

I haven't attended celebrity conventions in years, mainly because I can't afford to travel...but this looks to be a very impressive lineup for anyone far more well-off than me. :rotfl:

Still, I did get something I'm considering a miracle - Tom Welling is appearing at this event, and the website is offering autographed photos in advance! Ordinarily it would be too rich for my blood, but a friend helped me out, so I'll probably get it in the mail by the middle of June or so. I'll do a full YouTube video, once it arrives - until then, here's the image I chose. If you want one of your own, Official Pix has a moderate selection of images to choose from, but the price can get up to $140 with all the options, taxes, and shipping. Click on the shot to open the link - enjoy! :techman:

Just arrived this morning and I did it immediately.

I had AI design this jigsaw for me . It is 300 pieces. The teddy bear is in memory of my friend Tania who died last year and who collected teddy bears. The boxer’s name is Zeus and he belonged to my friend Dianne P who died in 1999. The card game is also in memory of her as we used to play canasta all the time. The tulips are in memory of my friend Christine who died in 1988 and who loved tulips. The blue footed booby is the favourite bird of my friend Dianne H who is still with us. The tuxedo cat is Georgy who died in 2023 aged 17. The two black cats in the picture on the wall are Spider (died in 2020 aged 17) and Miss Chicken (died in 2013 aged 15). I am represent by the giraffe as I collect them. I was able to pay for most of it using Flybuy points so I only had to pay $3.06 out of my own pocket.

A rear bumper for my pickup from Ford Parts Direct. The part in green listed as number 1, less the parts 2, 6 & 7 were ordered as an assembly. Someone hit the back bumper in a parking lot. The total cost including shipping is less than half my collision deductible, and I can fix it myself in about an hour.

Got some groceries today, including some more cat food for my cats. They had a roll back on some prices for it too, so that was nice.

Saved up and got a $20 eshop card recently tho and got Core Keeper.
Trip to Costco today for two rotisserie chickens, 80 pounds of dry cat food, 2 gallons of milk, 3 pounds of bananas, 4 X 100 foot garden hoses, and took the car through their car wash.
