Variety's been proven to be wrong before, odds are the marketing wasn't very high for this film to start with.

jeff sneider says 'VISION' will be the last Marvel TV series to feature major characters from the movies.

As long as that doesn't mean they're abandoning the existing stable of TV characters I think that's...fine?

Phase 4 had a lot of shows in 2021 which focused on movie characters, which made sense, as it was trying to flesh out the universe. But in Phase 5, only the dreadful Secret Invasion was a new story focused on a movie character. I guess Ironheart will also count, once it comes out, for better or worse.

As long as movie characters can "pop in" as needed - and the TV side characters can graduate into the movies - I think it's a good setup.

I can't think of any newer movie character that I'd want to see on an MCU (mini)series. Unless they gave David Harbour an Alexi show or something.

New rumor abound, Neve Campbell has been cast as a version of Polaris.

My guess, since Ian McKellen will be back for Magneto then they'd need his children to be old enough to be the children of a senior citizen. Therefore a middle aged actress as Polaris.

Saw once source saying it's for X-Men '97.

I am going with the black and white version as well. Not that I won't check out the color version as well. Naturally it's just a matter of time before you see side by side comparison of scenes on Youtube.

This is actually a few days old, but apparently even Feige thinks the concerns of "MCU fatigue" are real, and that trying to follow all the movies and shows are starting to feel like "homework".

-Reiterates that moving forward, the D+ shows are going to be more standalone with far less crossover between them and the movies (although personally I don't think we're going to see the full effects of this until we get to whatever's after the Multiverse Saga, aka after Secret Wars).

-The article does continue to reiterate a point that's come back and forth, that one of the reasons for the uneven quality of the Multiverse Saga was because Feige was too stretched thin to give many projects his attention.

-This apparently got so bad that, when Multiverse Saga producers went to meetings with Feige to get feedback on their projects, said meetings were only minutes long, sometimes to the point that producers would try to catch him walking around in the hallways of Marvel Studios offices to touch base with him.

-In regards to the whole "Feige & co were forced to rapidly develop content for D+, even if it meant announcing projects that weren't ready yet", the article claims that the blame for that decision wasn't solely Chapek's...it started out as a decision from Iger. Meaning at worst, all Chapek would be guilty of is continuing his predecessor's decision and not seeing an issue with it.

-And that initially Feige actually didn't have an issue with this new directive, because he was very eager at getting the green light to tell more Marvel stories then he could before from the Infinity Saga.

I can see how "Thunderbolts*" can be considered something that you'd appreciate more if you did the homework

-Watch Black Widow. You get to know Yelena and Red Guardian and who Valentina is and who Taskmaster is

-Watch "Falcon and the Winter Soldier" and you'll find out who John Walker is
