I assume that's Lightning as in Black Lightning's younger daughter? And I wonder if it's the same Green Lantern from the My Adventures series. They could be building a whole shared universe. The Starfire! logo style suggests it's also a kids' show, so it could conceivably be included as well.

The promo for the two Batman movies should just be Pattinson and whoever gets to be the other guy saying "I'm Batman" at each other for 2 minutes.

It's so weird that something as generic as "I'm Batman" has somehow come to be thought of as an iconic catchphrase. Or is the borderline-absurd banality of it the whole point?

It's really all about how they say it (especially in the differences between how the different actors say it).

Plus, aren't plenty of famous catchphrases totally generic when viewed in isolation?

"I'll be back."

"I can do this all day."

"I am Iron Man."

"Engage."

Etc, etc.

I hadn't heard about any of those animated series before.

I've only seen about 1/2 of the first season of My Adventures with Superman, did they introduce Green Lantern later? Or is she being introduced in her show?

What these animated TV series have done has been revealed today. They are also going to make 1 animated movie every year, let's see what they are going to do.

Oh OK. I'm a little surprised to see a solo Starfire show, I know there've been a couple of solo comics for her, but you don't seem to see her outside of the Titans very often.

The version in the Teen Titans and Teen Titans Go seems popular. I don't think we will be seeing the runaway slave version.

So, Starfire will co-star Lobo's daughter Crush and Princess Amethyst of Gemworld. Now, I'm a big fan of Lobo and Crush, I'm up for that, and Amethyst ... well, honestly, I've been wondering for years why WB/DC don't do anything with the property. It's Science Fantasy that's been aching for something to appeal to young girls and young adults. To have it now shoved into a different show, though still probably with young girls as the target audience, ... I don't know, maybe this will help familiarizing people with the character and the concept and something comes off it. It's certainly better than not using the character at all. Anyway, Josie Campbell is EP on this, and she's got a pretty good track record on DC Comics and DC Animation.

The Super Powers show, I don't know, feels like they use the brand name for a "new" concept (though not really, the super hero school is kind of its own subgenre at this point). I'd feel something in the vein of Justice League Action would be a more fitting kind of show for that brand name and what it represents. Though I'm a massive J'onn J'onzz fan, this is probably not for me.
As a collector of the action figures, I am wondering what this will mean for the McFarlane Toys line.

MAWGL, from the people that already did MAWS, well, yeah, I'll watch that.
