Ah, Space Jesus...... That cartoon was wild

Well, they did have a cameo in Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.Wonder if those kids from Dungeons and Dragons ever got home...![]()
And as others indicate, followed by Filmations' rocket to space with Flash Gordon!

Which as far as I remember followed on another channel
Flash Gordon:
Blasting off, on a desperate mission to save Earth from the evil plotting of the tyrannical space lord Ming the Merciless. .Dr. Hans Zarkov, and Dale Arden have joined me Flash Gordon on a fantastic journey, into worlds where peril and adventure await us.

Began as a made fort TV Animated movie...
Flash Gordon: The Greatest Adventure of All
If you liked Filmation's serialized cartoon version, the original film is really worth a watch.
As far as I know it only aired that one time in 82
A great take on Flash Gordon. And imho one of the best things Filmation produced.
It was edited and expanded on to make what became several episodes of the weekly cartoon.
With all the WWII setting, Hitler references, and any terrestrial looking weapons/ guns and some (slightly more) adult themes replaced or dropped.
I was going to do Galaxy Rangers too.The Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers
Galaxy Rangers (intro) 1986
GALAXY RANGERS - No Guts No Glory
Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs
Captain Future
(released in Germany in 1980, so it counts)
Once upon a time... Space - Opening Theme
The Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers

~ I haven't seen the film, but I have watched the clip of them in the maze. I wish there was an actual live action film featuring them (the Renault ad is amazing for an ad)Well, they did have a cameo in Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.
Yeah from what I remember the scene was used to kind of clown them. It wasn't the best homage.~ I haven't seen the film, but I have watched the clip of them in the maze. I wish there was an actual live action film
On the other hand, I love the Renault add.~ Yes, in a Renault Kwid/Outsider

Well, since it was the car they were advertising, I guess they needed to show it off a bit more.On the other hand, I love the Renault add.
And while appreciate they created it to cleverly promote the car, I wish they (whoever they hired to make it) would realize a version taken that one step further, replacing the lame car, with Dungeon Master or Presto conjuring the actual amusement park vehicle, to bring it full circle.
That's an insane amount of sfx for just a car commercial!~ Yes, in a Renault Kwid/Outsider
Cartoon was from the 60s, yet another terrific cartoon car commercial was Wacky Races / Peugeot.
Though again I appreciate they made it to showcase their car, yet without the lame Peugeot would be even better.
But to keep it car related and back on topic for the 80s cartoons:
While there were better vehicles (and of course Transformers), my favorite was Firefly; an outrageous bright neon-orange Baja Dune-Buggy-Dragster that turned into a Laser firing Rocket-Glider.

For me it was "Thundarr the Barbarian".
Absolutely, Kirby concept and StyleThat's gotta be a Kirby design.
Oh no. My friend is obsessed with that show. It's damn near all she talks about. Was sure this one would be first mentioned...
My mum had all these on burned DVDs that I used to watch quite a bit as a kid.DuckTales
Inspector Gadget
The Care Bear Family
Beetlejuice
I've watched this one too.And of course, Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends…
Turner Broadcasting acquired Ruby-Spears Productions in the early 90s. Turner then merged with Time Warner in 1996. So yeah, they're sitting on a metric ton of content. Given how Thundarr has remained so loved by those who watched, it's a wonder it's never gotten the reboot/revival treatment the way so many later toons have.I believe WB has acquired (= swallowed up) the rights to Thundarr, and is another of those great licences they are just siting on instead of producing something new with.
