How about a Trek show that was light on the scifi, but heavy on the sexual side of the Federation. A show totally taking place on Risa. Just think of the possibilities..

1. Android sex
2. Holosuite sex stories
3. You could center on some of the hookers employed at Risa
4. Same sex love scenes
5. Pretty much have all the women wearing next to nothing.

I like a show like that might go over in this day and age.

Chast Masterson...yep..she would be the hostess of the RISA show. Of course, it would require her to do it topless (on showtime)..but from what I can tell of her? She'd have no problem with that!!!

Or, you could write your own stories about a holodeck/holosuite re-creation of a long weekend on Risa, from any given character's point of view. I've set aside a section of my website to reflect that. "Star Trek: The Holodeck Chronicles". Try writing a Dixon Hill-style whodunnit/romance, or whatever springs to mind.

I'd say its time to start re-visiting the more civilian aspects of Federation/non-Federation life & off-duty entertainment as part of a "B-story" or "C-story" sub-plot.
