Star Trek: RISA

How about a Trek show that was light on the scifi, but heavy on the sexual side of the Federation. A show totally taking place on Risa. Just think of the possibilities..

1. Android sex
2. Holosuite sex stories
3. You could center on some of the hookers employed at Risa
4. Same sex love scenes
5. Pretty much have all the women wearing next to nothing.

I like a show like that might go over in this day and age.

Yeah..I'd actually subsribe to playboy channel if they did RISA on that channel. Showtime could do it to. They have the L word.

The guys from the 'Make It So' podcast have recommended a Risa Nights show (similar to the old Baywatch Nights) where the main characters go around and solve mysteries and have a lot of sex. I'm all for it.

I don't know. Risa? I could see it as one location among many, in a fan fiction or CG-based fan production series.

A soon-to-be former Starfleet Officer has to play private investigator. He/She has been abruptly told to "take a vacation" by certain members of the Admiralty during the Baku Relocation Scandal. The Officer has to find out why he or she ended up implicated, & who's got an axe to grind before he/she ends up in the stockade or conveniently unavailable for the duration of the hearings and/or the rest of his or her career.

In the meantime, there's a young opposite-sex or same sex beefcake / vamp that seems to be playing "super hero" & rescuing our hero from the occasional blow dart or other discreet means of silencing and/or abducting him/her in a crowded urban environment. The super-hero never gives our character his/her name, but occasionally kisses our hero, quips, winks & makes an interesting exit.

I'd go from there.

Three guests arrive, each with a back story. They are there to have sex sex sex. Perhaps to find a lost love, perhaps to have sex with an android. Maybe a klingon is being to rough with his human wife, and she wants to show him a more tender way to be romantic.

Or..the opposite. A Human married a Klingon and wants to experience Klingon love before marrying...rough rough rough...

Yes, this show would be for showtime. Total nudity, perhaps even NC-17. Would Paramount ever do that? No. But a few more sinkers like ENTERPRISE and you never know....it is all about money!!! And SEX sells. Heck, PORN makes more money than MOVIES and VIDEO GAMES.

Yeah, I agree. BUT, it ~would~ make for an interesting "Captain's Table" story. A peculiar door that mysteriously leads to a watering hole that caters exclusively to ranking C.O.'s, that sprouts up out of nowhere. You pay for your drinks by swapping stories, even risque ones.

I like that idea Mistal. They should indeed make a captain's table story about Risa adventures. Umm, yes, a bit more sexual in tone..but what is so wrong with that? I think, if done with taste (pardon the pun) it might be quite acceptable.

I'd be willing to set-up a section at "Star Trek: New Worlds" for NC-17 to XXX-rated holodeck/holosuite content. (As long as ALL content includes a common-sense "adult content" parental advisory / disclaimer / warning included just beneath the title/header & above the first paragraph of the actual story, designed to trigger Net Nanny & other legal-guardian related screening software.)
