Name the Episode from this Cropped Screenshot!

You haven't seen any of these in ages? I would never have guessed that!

It's been a year since I've seen any of those four. :o

Time for another pic! Good luck!

"The Rescue"? (not a favorite, but the pattern and horizontal layout are a possible giveaway.)

Yup! Good one, friend!
How do I make this more challenging? Who is your LEAST favorite Doctor? Hehe

LOL! That would be telling. :guffaw:

How about this one?

I'm 90% sure that's from the 1970s, leaning toward the early-70s/Pertwee era on this (it's possibly part of a screencap from a video camera rather than film and there's a little chromatic aberration, unless that's just a soft lens combined with enough jpg compression, but that soft grain stumps me and maybe it is from film, hmm...) There's a fair chunk of the screen in the screencap as well, probably from the top-right. Looks like a pipe running up the side on the far right, whose hue is reminiscent of one particular 80s story but that still doesn't quite fit as I'd seen that story a few months ago and it's not ringing a bell. Nor is Peter Marshall there so it's not a piece of "The Hollywood Squares"... Five stories come to mind, but none of them is an easy guess, to scribe the very least.

But, like the tree said to the lumberjack, "I'm stumped" (thank you Ned Flanders for that pun)...

...is it from "The Mutants"??

Which story would that be?

Correct! Wow!

Woohoo, wow! Looks like I'm shifting my rewatch list from season 22 to season 19 (my absolute favorite season, apart from 18.) I think I might know where the crosshatch pattern was in (a lit-up panel on the wall in the dome?)

Just a side note on "Kinda": I cannot believe the similarities this story shares with Avatar. It's incredible. Someone made a visual comparison online a while ago and I regret not saving it because I can't find it now.

Sci-fi invariably borrows from its past; "The Matrix" takes elements from a lot of shows, even a Blake's 7 series 4 episode ("Headhunter") but does something original with it and it's making it feel original that really makes it win.

By the way, I love your responses! Your Sherlock-esque reasoning is pretty damn impressive!

Thanks! More like Pico Fermi, as I was too hyperfocued on the Pertwee era based on perceived reaction to more discrete elements in the screencap, but "Kinda" did cross my mind due to all that yellow. I rolled with the odds, but it was in my list, had I not said "Planet of the Spiders".

How about this one?

That took me a moment and I almost went into Pertwee's era, but then I saw what's likely a dead giveaway (my learning that clicking on the image to see it larger really does help! )

THE TWIN DILEMMA

Either Azmel's ship or the base on Titan III. That story was loaded with black, dull silver, and computer consoles that were wrapped in tinfoil and had big black "X"'s or "Z" adornments. That's got to be a background computer prop (nice screencap of it!). I also know of one other story from Colin's era that had likely repurposed some of those consoles, but I don't recall the keyboard lighting... It's a tough call but I'll go with that for now.

CORRECT!! Very nice!
