As a middle-aged adult without any kids, I love all of the Holland films and the supporting cast. I greatly enjoyed seeing Peter struggling as a young man with these new found powers, while balancing his friendships and romantic interests in a realistic, refreshing manner. Seeing that play out felt very true to the core nature of the character from the beginning. More importantly, the films did that without the obnoxious teen angst of the Raimi films that I always felt off-putting (at best), which came out when I was a young man.My daughters, who are actual teenagers, really like the Holand movies, including supporting cast.
As a dad, i definitley see those films as really vibing with the next generation and a good representation of them.
