Why did other productions continue, and this one did not? I understand Covid was a factor, but it still strikes me as they just prioritized other shows.

COVID protocols were extremely expensive, which was a contributing factor in why many shows produced in 2020 and 2021 had shorter seasons. Short Treks didn't have a high budget to begin with, COVID protocols would have bankrupted the show.
The studio can afford the more expensive shows, but not the cheaper show? What?
The more expensive shows have the money to spare for COVID protocols, to a certain point, given many of them ended up with shorter seasons. The cheaper show doesn't have the money to afford them.
That's another thing, shows had to get by on their own budgets to follow COVID protocols. They didn't get extra money from the studios because of that.
Why? That's so stupid. Everything about the Covid lockdowns was so stupid, and it doesn't help that a lot of it has since been revealed to be made up.

Mind you, I almost died of Covid. The social distancing was total bullshit. When I was around people all the time working retail, I didn't get sick. When I changed jobs to one where I was rarely around anyone, that's when I got Covid and almost died. Make of that as you will.

its not even anti-modern trek. there have been other videos designed to show the differences between the original 23rd and nu23rd century. its contrasting things and its comedic and it supports the timeline rewrite theory. this guy knows more lore and small details than most people on the board. i've never understood the indiscriminate hate for someone that is obviously a HUGE fan.
Some of his vids are hilarious, some are cheat shots, and some are annoying. Honestly, it just depends on the vids. I don't write off a YouTube channel, because some vids are dumb. If I did that, I could never go back to YouTube.

true. i have had to watch some of them a few times to understand the contrasts he was making. i just think that he does make some fair points and has a lot of deep cut trivia.

I'm not here for trivia. I have been to trivia contests, and known more trivia than a writer from Voyager. It's no longer impressive to me.
