Green Lantern on HBOMax

Pierre already has DC cred: He was Dev-Em on the series Krypton (for the 10 of us that actually watched it).
 
Was he on Krypton from the beginning? I watched the first half or so of the first season and his character's name doesn't sound familiar.

He was. He was the Sagitari who was bound to Lyta before Seg entered the picture.

Krypton was a fantastic series. Sadly underappreciated and underwatched, and gone too soon.
 
Oh, OK I think I do recognize him now seeng in the picture from the Krypton. I'm sure he's gonna be good in Green Lantern, everybody in Krypton was good. I really need to finish up Kryton, it's up on the free streaming service Tubi.
 
I liked that show as well, except they did that thing that DC television shows like to do. They wrote a role that was obviously one DC character and then substituted an entirely different character. Adam Strange was written as Booster Gold. It was similar to what they did in Smallville and some of the CW series.

The article says he's playing a character named William Macon. I wonder what this will mean for his role on High Potential? That's also just an occasional recurring role, so I guess he could do both, depending on the logistics of what's filming where and when.
 
Mark Strong's Sinestro can never be beat, he was fucking perfect.
Now as for this show, my prediction is the show will have insane production values, great cast, compelling story, but ultimately it'll flop harder than The Acolyte.
Ain't nobody got time for earthstuck Lanterns.
