I'm using Blender (Blender for Artists specifically to build the models since Truespace quit working for me. It is free. I use DAZ Studio to pose the characters and render in the interiors with imported sets from Blender and Truespace.

Thanks for that. DAZ seems to be the part I'm looking for right now. Nice to know you can import stuff from Blender into it.

Yup. OBJ files exported from Blender work really well. =)
