This is indeed bringing up something from TNZ. That’s not allowed.
Please don’t do this again or I’ll have to give you a formal warning.
Thanks.

The timeline doesn't add up at all. Assuming T'Pol dies of natural causes at the end of a two hundred year Vulcan lifespan, that would place her death sometime in the 2290s. Saavik would not be a "legendary delegate" at this point, at most she'd be a newly promoted Lt. Commander. And that still feels like being generous. While transporting legendary delegates Saavik and T'pol, the Excelsior is attacked by the Suliban and flung roughly 100 years into the future. With the help of the USS Titan (commanded by William Riker) and the crew of DS9, our heroes must find the secret Suliban base and retrieve the temporal device involved in bringing the Excelsior into the future and use it to return to the proper timeline.
So your only complaint in regards the timeline not adding up is my calling Saavik a legendary diplomat? OK, poor choice of words on my part, I guess. I mean, the character is legendary to the audience, so there is that. The timeline doesn't add up at all. Become?????Star Trek has become a strange mix of Star Wars and flat out fantasy. I'd look for a hard SF idea and run with it.
