Of course in Secret Wars 2 - when the beyonder comes to Earth he needs a human form and copies Steve Rogers (and then just later makes his hair dark).
If they put him in the film, wonder who could play him…

What is the disconnect?even though there's actually a little bit of a disconnect between them.
I never said required. But I genuinely don't see how anything in The Marvels requires watching anything on D+

But the last time we see Wanda in WandaVision is her reading the Darkhold, floating all evil looking, while an illusion of her pretends to live a quiet life nearby. Isn't that exactly where we pick up with her in MoM?The disconnect is how exactly she gets from letting go of the kids and vowing to learn to better control herself to being completely overtaken by the darkhold to the point of going on a murder campaign in order to kidnap another version of her's kids.
Don't get me wrong, I can fill in the blanks fine and the whole evil magic book aspect works well enough for me. MoM is one of my all-time favorite superhero movies, and WandaVision is my all-time favorite superhero show. But I know a lot of people who were really bothered by that disconnect and I can see how the movie could've worked even better if they hadn't skipped over that part, making Wanda's villainy feel a bit like a sudden swerve from where we last left her.

... by jumping dramatically far ahead to the point that her sudden villainy gave a lot of people narrative whiplash.
She was basically the villain of her own show. Viewers of that had no problems seeing "Villain to maybe learned a lesson? Nope still villain" in her arc.

I can't speak for a lot of people. Only myself. My reaction was, "Ahhh, so that's what she was doing at the end of WandaVision..."... by jumping dramatically far ahead to the point that her sudden villainy gave a lot of people narrative whiplash.

He will be, almost certainly. Just as Reed Richards was in Doctor Strange 2, and will now be in Fantastic Four. RDj may or may not play him for very long, but I doubt the character will be gone in a flash.Which is kind of disappointing since Dr. Doom is such a huge character for Marvel and he really deserves to be in more that just those two movies.
If he’s the big bad he might be gone like Utron and Thanos were.He will be, almost certainly. Just as Reed Richards was in Doctor Strange 2, and will now be in Fantastic Four. RDj may or may not play him for very long, but I doubt the character will be gone in a flash.
