I voted for New Ground as the most grating and annoying of the bunch.

I like The Perfect Mate, Hero Worship has its good points, and The Outcast is well-intentioned, if poorly executed. The rest, bleh.

I ended up voting for The Outcast. I agree, Geck, that it may have been well-intentioned, but IMO the execution is so poor as to knock it to the bottom of the list. The other episodes were mostly just bland and not particularly terrible, I think.

I like all of these episodes just fine. So I won't vote. "The Outcast" is actually one of my favorite Riker stories. It's very unusual — that's why I like it.

Yes Hero Worship was a solid episode. I thought the little boy playing Timothy was great. He and Brent really were great in all their interactions which were the highlights and once again Troi was used effectively. When I first saw this episode I was about his age and was actually going through a big TNG phase and I was imitating Data with the slicked back hair, the robotic speech pattern and head-cocking. So I was a little envious of Timothy. :)

I also found the mystery of what happened on the ship to be interesting. I'd give it 3 stars out of 4 or a B+.

I even don't find New Ground all that bad. I liked the idea of Alexander coming to live with Worf and all the unresolved issues between the two. And I always liked seeing Helena. I'd give it a 2.75 stars out of 4 or a B-.

I don't hate it. I actually think several portions are decent but I really didn't care for the tacked on rescue mission. It felt unnecessary and a bit silly.

"Imaginary Friend". All of the other episodes have some redeeming features, but this episode is just pointless and boring.
