Would it maybe be a good idea to pin all 20 episode threads, what with them all being dropped at once?

No. Hell no.Would it maybe be a good idea to pin all 20 episode threads, what with them all being dropped at once?
Building on the franchise’s past, they sneakily made some of the best Trek in decades right under our noses, all under the guise of a ‘kid’s show’ — and to say that the end of Season 2’s storyline “sticks the landing” might be the understatement of the year.
Considering its a Star Trek show and this is a Star Trek site, it make sense that they have their own thread for each episode. All the others do.Would it maybe be a good idea to pin all 20 episode threads, what with them all being dropped at once?
I don't mind SNW but it so different than the other Trek shows that it feels like its own thing. I just wish it fitted better.1. SNW
2. PRO
3. The rest of the streaming content
It's only different in the context of streaming Trek, which tends to be a season arc. Pre-Discovery, DS9 was the most arc-heavy Trek we had, and even then it wasn't full seasons.I don't mind SNW but it so different than the other Trek shows that it feels like its own thing. I mean cosmetically. The legacy characters feel different as well. It's only different in the context of streaming Trek, which tends to be a season arc. Pre-Discovery, DS9 was the most arc-heavy Trek we had, and even then it wasn't full seasons.
Season 3 of Enterprise was pretty arc heavy. It's only different in the context of streaming Trek, which tends to be a season arc. Pre-Discovery, DS9 was the most arc-heavy Trek we had, and even then it wasn't full seasons.
Point. I forgot about most of S3 and S4 Ent.Season 3 of Enterprise was pretty arc heavy.
Unlikely for a season 3 on Netflix. Though they do talk again about a 90-minute movie, which is a format that would probably suit the cinematic Prodigy, which they themselves admit is best not taken into 22-minutes bites.Kevin Hageman: I would guess more than doing well. We don’t know anything about season 3 yet. But what from what I see of Netflix when they do pickup shows for a season 3, which is very rare, it’s not about doing well, it has to do gangbusters.
Dan Hageman: Most things only get 2 seasons.
Kevin Hageman: I think it’s going to be a real challenge. And I think it has to be bigger than just the Star Trek audience watching it as much as they can. It’s about breaking into kids who are [not already fans
Well, Paramount is a commercial company, if this doesn't make enough money (or doesn't attract enough young viewers/sells enough toys, depending on what their commercial strategy was) than quality is not important.I’m planning on getting back to finishing the season tonight. The fact I haven’t been able to get what I’ve seen from the first 10 episodes out of my head the last couple days is a goddamn good sign.
And I say again, this was the Star Trek series that Paramount decided to cancel?!
Business first. What did viewership show? And I say again, this was the Star Trek series that Paramount decided to cancel?!
Creating a subsection would be above my paygrade, but I don't see the need for it.What about having a "new episode threads" forum section, where these and other new episodes go until a month or so after the last episode of the season in question airs?
