Spoilers Lower Decks General Discussion Thread

Got the UK edition of S3 blu ray, and it’s not an MOD like the US version AND it’s got a slipcover..! Really happy I ordered it, was never satisfied with the US version!
Are the disc menus different? Are the episodes different encodes?

There don't appear to be any solidly reliable sources on the budget of either SNW or LDS.

There are some vaguely unsupported claims that SNW costs 7 or 8 million per episode.

And there are no claims I can find at all about LDS, but the average cost of a 30m animated series is supposedly around 300-500k per episode.

So, far more expensive? Sure. Enough to pay for all 40 episodes of LDS out of the budget of 1 episode of SNW? Not remotely.

Well, just finished S4.

Maybe not quite as good as S3, and S2 is still the best in the series in my opinion, but it was still a solid bit of entertainment. Nice to see the Genesis device again; obviously it's too good a piece of tech to just disappear because of one mistake.

I look forward to see how they'll end this thing with S5.

It's some sort of alternate reality Q jr. (I guess that's a thing) sent Jake, Nog and Alexander to for "reasons". Dukat is a Starfleet captain in that reality.

Oh, so that's who that person on the right is supposed to be! He was the only one I couldn’t place. So if that’s Q’s son then that at least explains the impossibility of the scene we are seeing.

By the way, I guess it’s the least non-sensical thing about this image, but if they were engaging the Breen, why the hell would the screen show (two identical) images of Breen helmets?

More importantly, why is there a picture of the Eye of Sauron?

Popped up on YouTube and I went "Boimler?"

Yes, that is indeed Jack Quaid. That video probably means more to fans of The Boys, where Jack Quaid plays Hughie, and also, the blonde in that video is Erin Moriarty, who plays Starlight on The Boys.
