But again, it was all about music. A musical number in such an episode is hardly out of left field.

A fun episode. Maestro was wonderfully OTT and also a bit scary. Nice that Paul and John saved the day. Liked the shoutout to Trotter's Lane and Susan.
I think "All You Need Is Love" is the only song The Beatles let someone use without paying a license. It's in the "Prisoner" episode "Fall Out".
They let Patrick McGoohan use it because they were fans of the show.
The song has been a part of every rebroadcast and home media release.
How much would it take to license The Rutles?

Ahh my exams finished (had to postpone because they’re important
) so finally watching Dr Who! 10 minutes into The Devils Chord and i’m just over the moon because so far it’s just camp and so far more my speed than the last episode by a lot.
also kinda loving the special guests like Jinkx
Edit: Finished it and loved it (minus the music battle not for any reason other than it made me cringe). I LOVE JINKX/MAESTRO. I’ll always take a dance number. Camp and silly so.. <3

I don’t know… I remember at least liking Twin Dilemma first time I saw it.
I don't know about you, but I thought that the rest of Blake's 7 were going to back up Avon and take that meddling Time Lord down, once and for all, but alas no, it was just the same regular shit show where Peri stayed fully clothed.
You’re thinking of TimeLash (which seems to have been a bit inspiring to this season, if the rumours are believed) Twin Dilemma is domestic violence mentally unstable Doctor, shiny Policeman with glue gun blaster and — just to trip your memory — plunging neckline plaid top Peri.
