Spoilers Game Of Thrones’ Spinoff ‘House Of The Dragons’ ordered to series

I'm looking forward to Duncan & Egg way more than the remainder of House of the Dragon. If it has the same feel as the books, the show should be a ton of fun.

At this rate, we can expect announcement of Aegon I’s conquest and or Aegon IV and thr Blackfyre Rebellion in the future.
 
House of the Dragon has been great, but I'm definitely more interested in Dunk & Egg. I hope even if GRRM doesn't write any more stories, he at least has some outlines and ideas the show can pull from. I can also see them expanding on the Blackfyres since those rebellions play a pretty large role in the background.

While I'd love a whole show about the Blackfyre Rebellion, I'm not sure if it will happen since it would be a little too similar to House of the Dragon. Too bad, because I love the characters involved in that event.
 
I think the only thing I was disappointed about HOTD, was them just reusing the GoT theme.

It’s a good theme, but I would have liked something new.

I still haven't read the Dunk and Egg stories but I've heard good things. Problem is I think I'm just tired of Westeros at this point. It all feels so repetitive anymore (I know the basics of Dunk and Egg and know it's not, I just mean in general).

I completely get where you're coming from. That's sorta why I'm looking forward to Dunk & Egg. At least it's a different spin on it all. As far as House goes, we are now at a point story wise where, imo, the books completely go down the toilet. There is no one you can root for. Every character is an asshole and there is no fun to the story at all. I'm sure I'll watch the first episode of the new season out of habit, but I don't think it will take me long to check out.

It’s Jace and Cregan Stark at the Wall.

Supposedly, Jace and Cregan will range beyond the Wall for a short expedition. Jace’s dragon is said to be unwilling to fly beyond the Wall and we are allegedly going to be seeing new White Walkers this season.
