Terra Firma itself already established that the trip was real to some extent. When asked if it was real, "Carl" says the answer is on your wrist, so Georgio checks and it says she has three months worth of biodata that she didn't have before.

...but it also can't be "The Real Timeline!" because of conflicting events in the MU compared to what was seen in season one.

I think the best answer is, don't worry about it. ;)

Primarch Ruhn: L'ak you traitorous Odo! If you're such a solid lover, we'll turn you into a solid permanently!

Burnham: I'm sorry commander even after all this time I still don't understand some of these 32nd century words, unless the universal translator glitched on me. What's an Odo?

Rayner: An infamous changeling who sold out his own kind after getting together with a solid female, which ended in the defeat and humiliation of the Dominion centuries ago, and the Breen along with them. The Breen use his name as an insult to those who get involved romantically with inferior species.

Turns out boiled cake is a thing on earth too! I guess this was a pretty good character development story for Mol and L'ak, although the chemistry between the actors does not rise to the Burnham/Book level of just above average. I like the actress and (somewhat) actor, but together they don't generate a lot of sparks IMO. The Breen set was interesting, but other than the solid/liquid dichotomy, they remain underdeveloped when they could've been fascinating. The ISS Enterprise was okay, but nothing eventful like it perhaps should've been. Action Saru, meh. The Hit It, nah, Let's Fly quip was pretty good, but otherwise, to me, this was too talky and underwhelming an episode to involve the Breen and mirror Enterprise. Strong 7, my first such a "low" grade in quite some time.

I've already posted this image in one other thread but I love the suggestion that the ISS Enterprise returns, as a 3191-era Starfleet refit ship, later this season!

Entrerprise-K! The name was retired after the J.

My bet. Then you've got J for Janeway with the Voyager-J and K for Kirk with the Enterprise-K.

That'd be a return to the way United Earth did things before the birth of the Federation. No "U.S.S." prefix for any of its starships.

At the end of the day this is a television production on a budget. Have to go with the standing sets. Thus it's the SNW Enterprise.

But it didn't have to be the ISS Enterprise. Didn't the USS Peregrine (NCC-1549) as seen in SNW use the Enterprise sets? There are other starships of the era that use the same design elements This derelict could have been one of those.

Additionally, there was no need for the ship to be from the Mirror Universe (other than the desire to say it was the Enterprise).
